The project proposes to implement innovative pilot measures in the field of energy and environmental protection, with the ultimate result of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the promotion of environmentally friendly technological solutions in the daily life of the inhabitants of the municipalities of Haskovo, Stambolovo and Madjarovo.
The project also provides for the implementation of activities at municipal level related to enhancing the skills and expertise for planning and carrying out and/or commissioning activities to assess the effectiveness of strategic plans and programmes in the field of sustainable development and adaptation to the adverse effects of climate change.
Another objective of the project is the dissemination of good practices and knowledge between the partner Bulgarian municipalities and the partner organisation from the Kingdom of Norway in the field of environmental protection and adaptation to climate change.
