The Municipality of Stambolovo installed solar systems for domestic hot water supply in four branches of the Kindergarten "Zvezdichka" in the villages of Lyaskovets, Silen, Golyam Izvor and Zhelty Bryag upon implementation of the project "Transition to Climate-Resilient Communities", Grant Agreement No.D-33-20/11.07.2022, number under Information System for Management and Monitoring (ISMM) BGENVIRONMENT-4.004-0013 with the financial support of Programme "Environmental Protection and Climate Change" of the Financial mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.

On 18 and 19 March 2024, in the town of Haskovo a two-day meeting for dissemination of good practices and knowledge transfer was held together with the partner organization from the Kingdom of Norway in the field of adaptation to climate change, being a unique opportunity to obtain useful information about the specific implementation of some good practices and successful measures in the field of "green" solutions for adaptation to climate change.
